I bought the return train tickets to Blackpool with First TransPennine Express (cost
£23 each). The journey starts from Glasgow Central to Preston (via Virgin Train), then change another train to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The journey takes about 3 hours.
I made a big mistake by getting into the wrong train at Preston to Blackpool. We suppose to take the direct train to Blackpool Pleasure Beach but we took the wrong one to Blackpool North (this is the town area of Blackpool). Haiz, too excited. *think positive* We got the chance to do some food shopping there before
going to the south for our Travelodge hotel. We walked in the rain and
waited for the bus to go to our hotel. *pity mode
For your info, there are 3 trains going to Blackpool and make sure you take the right one to save time and energy. Don't worry, there are trams, buses and horses to bring you around the small town.
Grey sky greeted us
The pretty horse carriage caught my eyes
The tram that moves along South and North Piers
The classic bus
The main entrance of Blackpool Pleasure Beach

We went to the games arcade center to try our luck on this
I love this toy but the machine is shut down at that time

My wristband allows me to play all the games
*The actual price for individual wristband is
£35 but I used the Irn Bru promotion cap BOGOF and bought 2 wristbands for only £35. Check its main website here for more discounts.
We have to scan this barcode at every entry point of the chosen rides
The first ride - spaceship
Queuing for our turn to fly sit on the spaceship
Our second ride - ghost train
Scanning barcode in progress
That's our ride *not scary at all*
We walked to the new section of Pleasure Beach; Nickelodeon Land for our next 8 rides. Actually we can play as many as we want, we were just too tired and scared to go for the high rollercoasters.
They are building something new for 2013
Spotted my favourite game - bumper car
I persuaded my hubby to join me playing for the second round *childish me
Those are the rails of the scary rollercoasters
We rode the car at Grand Prix
Water fountains inside BPB
Oh banana, you are so handsome!

Failed to capture my jump attempt
Swallowing the sun
We stayed in Travelodge South Promenade for 2 nights (first night costs us
£25.50 and the second night
£35.75).
There are 3 Travelodges in Blackpool so choose the one that suits you most. I
chose this one as my main focus is Blackpool Pleasure Beach.
I love Travelodge - big room and everything new
=Tired but happy us=
The rides we got on BPB: Flying machines, Ghost Train, Steeplechase, Grand Prix, Dodgems, Chinese Puzzle Maze, Blue Flyer, Nickelodeon Streak, River Caves, Impossible, Valhalla
Review: Blackpool is just like an entertainment town for the British (online source said that it's their playground by the sea all year round). We came there once and spent the whole day at BPB and that is enough for us already (I can't survive there - too boring).
