Glasgow Cathedral

Glasgow Cathedral is the best preserved example of a large church to have survived the Reformation, and has one of the finest post-war collections of stained-glass windows to be found in Britain (source: http://www.glasgow-cathedral.com/).

It is cold and dark inside the cathedral. We are advised to go there during daytime preferably a sunny day. I went to this cathedral twice (first time with hubby then I went again for photo taking on my own).

This is the Great West Window called "The Creation" by Frasic Spear and below it is a modern clock, both installed in 1958.

Wow, I love the pretty stained-glass windows

This section is called "The Quire"

 The Blacader Aisle

Wow, it has been there for 800 years!

It really needs a new coat of paint
